What’s for lunch?

I’m bloody starving and waiting for my food to cook. What you having?

I’ve got leek and potato soup and a toastie with smoked cheese and chutney.

I had a salad with chicken tikka chicken slices.

I had soudough bread with a slice of ham and a slice of danish cheese plus a yoghurt and an orange. I was having a continental breakfast moment.

Also had one of those iced spiced buns from M&S

Can you tell it's nearly the end of the week and I had just totally lost interest in packing myself a lunch today? :)

I'm making veg and lentil soup from scratch - nice and cheap (about a quid all in) and it covers our lunches for a few days. I'm at home this week though so makes it much easier to do.

Brie, bacon and cranberry baguette. Slightly disappointing as had to overheat the brie - 9 weeks pregnant so not taking any risks as this one wasn't labelled pasteurised. Still delicious, just lost a lot of brie every time I bit into it 🤣

Crosse & Blackwell cream of chicken soup. My favourite.

DH made me a cheese and marmite AND MARMITE CRISPS sandwich. I am v pregnant and v fond of marmite. It was epic
