Do I go back to GP?

My reception age child is off school, with Uti symptoms. GP thought constipation) fecal impaction might be the cause and have laxatives, told to come back in a few days if that didn't help. I'm not Convinced that's the issue, despite urine test negative for UTI bacteria.

2 days later she seems to have ear infection, plus UTI symptoms worse. Can't get the laxative inside her as she doesnt like the taste. She's had one dose and some a normal poo (before laxative).

Do I go back to the doc for antibiotics?

I'm on my own with lots of children at home and no help and can't think straight due to lack of sleep.

Yes. If you're at all unsure about a poorly child, you get medical advice.

It's horrible, being assertive when you're knackered and feel fobbed off. But gonwoth your gut instinct. Hope they're better soon.

Yes, the GP advised you to go back if symptoms didn't improve.
