Bone aching loneliness but not actually lonely.

I am rarely actually alone and quite often would love to be!

I was told by a therapist it’s quite common and probably stems from emotional neglect in childhood and that certainly is true in my case but even though I’ve had quite a bit of therapy to overcome my childhood demons it still persists.

Does anyone else get this or has overcome it?
