Make me feel better about the tut in my house

I just realised that the aerial broken off our car, kept with the vague stupid idea of reattaching it, is still scudding about behind a bookcase.

That in itself is bad enough, but we scrapped the blinking car in June! (Not due to the lack of aerial btw).

Make me feel better and tell me about the ridiculous crap your house is cluttered with...

Lat week I found In kitchen cupboard I had a jar of curry sauce bb 22 June 2017. I am a self confessed dirty cow. Find receipts from years ago too every now and then

We live in a 2 bedroom flat, which has a bathroom and a separate tiny shower room. Only the bathroom is filled with DH’s tools, bikes and junk to the point that it’s unusable. I haven’t been able to have a bath in years and every time I go in there I bang my head on a bike.

2017 is nothing. We’ve got some spices that my husband (who does most of the cooking) swears are fine - they went off in June 1998 before my daughter who has left home, was born.

Herbs, not spices, sorry

ah, spices are ok, we had a jar of nutmeg that lasted for years. The herbs need to go tho.

Chucking out the car aerial today 😀

I've had the same big jar of cloves my whole adult life (in my 50s now). It's moved with me about 4 times. I only use a few cloves every so often so it's only halfway down.
