My car was hit whilst parked outside my house by a van, minor scratches so they said they would sort it and they did, no issue. I informed my insurance company as required, about the incident but said it was information only and I was not making a claim. I have had a number of emails from them to say it was information only including from the complaints department. I have just received my NCD letter and it says there was a non fault claim which cost £160 (the information only claim I told them about). Any idea what’s going on? I have emailed them but have received an automated response saying it may take a few days to respond.
If it’s information only is it normal for the incident to be recorded on the CUE database? If not can I have it removed?
