Have I been blocked on WhatsApp?

Hi,

I’ve set up a WhatsApp group and added 3 other people.

My first message was delivered and read by all in the group, so showed two blue ticks.

Person 1 and 2 have replied. In my replies to each of them, person 3 doesn’t show under the Message Info section as either delivered or read these messages - their name doesn’t show at all.

Do you think they’ve blocked me? I can still see their profile picture but not their status.

They may not have accepted the group yet

Think i means it hasn't been delivered yet, their phone is off or no signal.

This happens in some of my chats. Usually their phone hasn't got the signal to receive the message at that point.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. Hopefully it’s just because of a reason like you’ve said ie no signal or not having accepted the group yet.

This sort of thing would never normally have bothered me but the pandemic has really knocked my confidence. Thanks again.

Even if you're blocked, they will still receive your group messages.
