Just realised my dogs boosters will be two weeks late by time she goes into kennels in two weeks time, do you reckon they’ll still take her?? Really stressing out!

I know its not great but our vet kindly back dated booster dates for kennels I think we were a week and a bit late. The kernels might not take your dog.

Is your dog getting boosters 2 weeks before ?

FrankieDobie · 03/10/2021 20:52

I’ve messaged them to tell them and asked if they want me to do boosters before or after we go. She was booked in last week for them but I had to cancel due to positive Covid test

There is a grace period of 3 months. I couldn't get a vet's appointment for my dog in time before kennels, but the vet told me about the grace period and the kennels knew about it.

She'll need to have them before she goes into kennels if that's what you mean?

FrankieDobie · 03/10/2021 21:26

Well the website says they have to given 4 weeks before hand so maybe it will be best to do them once we get back? She’s only going in for 5 days and they’re due on the 8th maybe they will be 2 weeks late by time she comes home

Our kennels said that even though there is a 3 month grace at the vet, their insurance requires them to be less than 12 months old.
