Working whilst nauseous

How does one cope having to work whilst thoroughly feeling like a badger's behind? Was going to call in sick for next week, but that would leave the rest of the team in the poo as 3 people are on holiday (small team).

Extra strong mints
Ginger tea
Pop out for air

What’s the cause? I’d rather someone with a stomach bug called in sick and made me busier than came in spreading it around!

I had severe nausea when pregnant. I used travel sickness bands and ginger biscuits.

Its morning sickness.

Some interesting suggestions for remedies. I have tried plain crackers, rich tea biscuits and lemonade though, none of which worked.

Coca cola? But in limited quantities

Pure orange juice in small sips and don't be afraid to take a break every so often.
As silly as it sounds, don't forget to breath, it helps if you concentrate on breathing Smile

If you go to the GP they can prescribe some tablets which may help

I used to sniff ginger or peppermint tea bags (and drink the tea) and nibble dry crackers or cruskits. Awful morning sickness right the way through and it really helped.

Zooper doopers (like squash ice lollies) and ondansetron. Ask your GP for the latter, it’s life changing.
