On holiday - I'm in pub while DH naps upstairs!

Currently on holiday. I'm in the pub next door as DH is napping and I didn't want to stay there with him.

So I'm in the pub next door (think Premier Inn/restaurant arrangement) enjoying a glass of wine, a good book and people watching.

Not even feeling out of place or unwelcome - in fact very much enjoying the me time - cheers!

We had a large Sunday lunch earlier so no dinner tonight - probably snacks up in the room

Not waiter service unfortunately but I'm quite close to the bar so not far to wander over to.

The background music is good too.

Dh does this. He does the driving (dont like it) so i let him be, and go down stairs. Its lovely!

A certain hotel that DH and I go to though it has been a while has a lovely very large sitting area. Old hotel and it has loads of sofas and easy chairs. Dh will go up for a sleep and I will settle myself down to using my tablet and having a coffee or maybe a G&T Baileys wine or whatever I fancy. It does have waiter service which is even better.
