Once a year I cut the hedge between our house and next door

It's that time of year again when it needs to be done, along with all the other jobs such as cutting the grass for the last time in case the weather turns nasty. I have managed to do it (both sides) in between showers. I am feeling rather smug and self satisfied and incredibly tired.

Has anyone else achieved greatness today?

I have cut my youngest son’s hair. I started trimming it for him during lockdown as it got really long and irritating for him - I think I do a pretty good job now!

I was lucky I already had hairdressing scissors as I trim my curls every so often, but all my sons have dead straight hair and it’s surprisingly hard to keep it even but not a bowl cut style Grin

I found a raincoat that DS actually likes, that fits and at a reasonable price. Feel like I’m winning at being an adult 😀
