PCR tests

Apologies, I know there's a thread on this every week, but if you've had a (drive through) test very recently, how long did your results take?

Both times this week under 24 hours, more like 12 hours. Both my tests were 9-10am.

My son had one on Thursday test was 9:15am result was around 10:30pm same day. Rest of the family tested yesterday at 12:30pm and got results at 1am this morning. I thought that was good for a weekend.

Test 3 weeks ago for DD1 at 3pm on saturday, had the results back by 12pm on sunday.

Test for DD2 and DH yesterday at 11:30am, still waiting for results now and it's around 26 hours so far. DD2 did have a positive lateral flow test at home first though so maybe if PCR is positive it takes longer?

We just had a wait of 36hrs. The longest yet. Annoyingly we’re back on the waiting game today as my son has had several positive lateral flows but a negative PCR?! So we’re trying again!

Dd had a test on Monday, results 24hrs later. Dh had one Wednesday, results early hours of Friday morning

Ones done at a drive thru in London at 9.30 Friday came back 5pm Saturday.

Postal PCR sent Wednesday 1pm result returned early hours Friday morning.

drive through for me this week back in under 24 hours
postal tests for rest of the family send yesterday afternoon all back in under 24 hours.We are in the SW.

we did ours at 9 am and had results at 9.30 that night.

Thanks. We've waited around 27 hours now which seems slightly longer than lots of these replies but I guess I just have to be patient!

We have gone through drive through and walk through 6x in last 10 days.. Don't ask... Fastest (only positive) was 10am next day after evening appointment and a 8am test back at 1am...
Slowest was 55 hours but most less than 36
..

I had one done 1pm on Wednesday and got the results at 9.20pm on Thursday, the longest I've had to wait so far.

We are now on 32 hours which is the longest we’ve had to wait before....I’ve never checked my phone so much!

I went to drive through yesterday at 10.30 , results today at 1pm.
