What Car would you buy?

I have £7000 cash to spend on a car. I could use this as a deposit but ideally I will be able to buy one outright and forgo any finance agreements. I could go up to about £8000 (cash) realistically. We are a family of three (2 adults 1 6 yr old boy) and a Labrador. I need something decent sized (currently drive a Peugeot 206 and hoping for a bit bigger tbh) that will fit the dog in the boot and will be realisable/last a few years. Any recommendations greatly received as my eyes are gonna fall off if I carry on Scrolling autotrader

A Skoda Fabia Estate?

Tulips15 · 02/10/2021 17:19

An estate car!
I've had a few estate cars, people carriers and an SUV.
We have 4DC and had 2 dogs.
The SUV was unsuitable for dogs ( Too high) The people carrier was also a bit too high.
Estate car was perfect.
I loved my ford mondeo estate.
But would 100% look at an Audi A4/A6-
My dogs have sadly gone now and I have an Audi A3 ( Just the 3Dc home) Its a great car but an An Estate would be better- as Im still filling the boot with scooters/shopping ect and the boot is small!

Also what kind of mileage do you look for on a second hand car?
