Does anyone know any circumstances in which a blue badge is fast tracked (2 days 😱😱😱) other than a terminal diagnosis? Sad

Was it actually fast tracked or did the council just do it quickly? My mate applied for her first one last year for mobility issues and it was granted in a week. Not fast tracked, just a standard application.

In my area they are given over to third party in our area not council. You could try speaking them direct might help. Is there reason why it’s so urgent? Most people who suddenly ill and have to go hospital wouldn’t be able travel independently so need someone else who could drop off park in normal space and then assist them in.

In my hospital we have 4 BB spaces that are constantly full so even having one isn’t much help as still need park wherever is space

Have you spoken to the council and asked for a parking dispensation? Depending on the reason why it is required urgently and where you need to park, this might be a stop gap.
