Electric blanket help please

I'm looking for a duel controlled, king size electric blanket. One where the wires don't dig into you also!

Something that ticks all boxes seems tricky to find, so any help is appreciated.

The Dreamland blankets will do what you want and are brilliant.

Thank you both, I shall look them up.

@Twostepsbackagain @middleager - with dreamland, do they warm right to edges? I can't see the sizes of the actual heating part- just the bed size it fits. I've also had issues in the past where the heating section is MUCH smaller and shorter than the bed- so you end up with cold feet and around the edges.

I was coming to recommend the same jl one. Yes it warms all the bed, and it fits like a fitted sheet so it doesn’t wriggle around.
I’d like to say it saved our marriage but really it just saved my husband from boiling because no flipping way I wasn’t having it on!

My dc has a small single (2’ 6”) mattress. I’m struggling to find an electric blanket which would work on a smaller mattress.

Yes, as @KatyN said, they’re like a fitted sheet or mattress protector. Ours have 1 hr or 9 hr settings and an extra, like a fast/turbo heat setting. I know the type you mean, like a rectangle that has ties to go under the mattress. No comparison!

Twostepsbackagain · 02/10/2021 22:05

Oh and with the 1 or 9 hour times, the settings are 1-5 different heats … sorry that probably wasn’t clear.

Careful now . . .

I put my JL heated mattress cover on last night and it was bliss. It heats to the edges. I have a Superking bed.

I had previously had electric under and overblankets (Dreamland) and also the electric Dreamland duvets for the kids' single beds. I was very disappointed by the duvets as the heat is minimal. I think, because the wires are in a duvet, that the material is too thick to get through and so there's very little impact.

@middleager- thanks for the info. Good to hear that it does heat to the edges, because I found another dreamland one which doesn't according to the reviews. I assume they have several varieties though. thanks.
