Instagram reels

I have Instagram as it's a great way to generate orders for my small business.

Why am I constantly seeing reels the most ridiculous things? Countless people doing the same stupid dance, a woman standing in front of a tree holding a leaf, you men smugly looking at the camera while they do a 'sexy' dance. I AM interested in dance but proper dance and not utter shite like this.

Is there a way to disable instagram reels?

Maybe you should stop watching the silly ones so the Instagram algorithm knows you’re not interested in them

Unfortunately not, infact they are trying to make reels the forefront of instagram now as they are trying to compete worh tik tok.

There are a lot of complaints but they don’t listen to their users unfortunately.

I do agree though, i find reels really cringe, esp if its older People trying to copy what the younger people are doing on reels/tik toks

@LaBellina well this is part of the problem, sometimes I watch them to see just how shut they are! 😂 I have seen some beautifully choreographed routines that I would still like to see, but it seems I can't without seeing all the other 'trends' too.

It's not the age of the people that bugs me @Covetthee it's the terrible content. (I'm no spring chicken myself).

I think the problem will sort itself out, when Instagram indeed will start taking its users seriously but don’t know when that will be…
