Just wanted to post an update. A couple of weeks ago I posted about not being able to afford a new oven. I had loads of very helpful suggestions and decided to ask on my local Facebook marketplace if someone was selling a used one cheap. A lady inboxed me saying she had one and she could deliver it to me but would be in a couple of days as she had work etc. I of course was absolutely delighted and couldn't thank her enough. This morning I had a knock at my door and a brand new oven turned up at my house!! A double one in the same colour that matched my other appliances and it's absolutely perfect. She even paid for someone to take the old one and to connect the new one. I literally have been in absolute shock all day! I can't believe that someone would be so genuine and lovely. It felt absolutely wonderful tonight to cook dinner for my lovely children tonight. I am going to pay it forward when I can, I have promised myself to never forget this persons kindness.
On the same note, I want to clean it after each use so that it stays lovely and clean and the glass doesn't discolour. Is the best way to just use washing up liquid and warm water after each use? Or should I get a specific oven cleaner?
