I phoned a company today about an order (gift to friend) that hadn't been received. The company were great, apologetic, said they'd look into it and call me me back. I'd not given them my phone details so I stupidy asked "do you know who I am?"
I guess their system flags it up automatically from my call , so yes they knew who I was..
But I felt like a stupid arse who was expecting peferential treatment. Oh so embarassed.
