Talk to me about increasing sertraline

Been taking 50mg for 10 weeks for anxiety. Took 4 weeks to start having an effect but felt much better, even with the remaining small amount of anxiety. The last week the anxiety is as bad as ever and I think I need to up my dose.
My sleep has improved significantly since starting so I don't want an increase to ruin my sleep?

Any advice or experiences?

I’m on sertraline too, I went in at 150mg and now am on 200mg.

I don’t have problems sleeping but if you think you may be affected could you take it at a different time of the day.

Do you take it at night?

I need an increase but I take mine in the morning and an increase worries me a bit.

Bin general I’m someone that needs a lot of sleep (that’s not depression etc related) I take it last thing at night before bed.

Because I was aware it could make me have trouble sleeping for a while I had it in the afternoon thinking it might help with that slump everyone gets but it made no difference to me.

But first or last thing sounds better as I’d always remember to take it! I find it affects me 2 days after if I’ve forgotten, so just make sure you’re on top of your routine and don’t forget.

I’ve increased twice and I’m now on 150mg. I had to switch to taking it in the morning from 100g as it was causing insomnia. No other side effect from increasing though!

I’m on this and wonder if it makes you out on weight, or if I just eat too much!?

I take it just before bed and have been sleeping so well.
I’m going to up it tonight. Doctor said to 100 but could start with 75mg for a week if I’m worried about side effects. I get awful when I first started working it
