What coat/waterproof for newly walking 11month old?

Getting lots of questions about what my DD would like for her 1st birthday and was thinking about a coat or all in one waterproof thing but she’s newly walking and hasn’t walked outside yet so I’m not sure what will be best to keep her warm and dry but not be too restrictive to walk in.

My DS was newly walking in summer (and much older) so not an issue.

Any gems around?

I got DS an all in one suit from muddy puddles. I got a fleece lined one as he walked REALLY slowly. It was expensive but definitely waterproof (also hoping it fits him this winter 🤞🏼)

I generally preferred a thinner all in one thing (as they tend to be really hot) and then I could layer up as needed. It also means he could wear it on days like today when it's mild but rainy without becoming a sweaty mess. I got most of ours from Next I think.

Definitely an all-in-one puddle suit.

We had a fleecy all-in-one as a hand-me-down, so I just bought a thin thinner puddle suit over it, but fleecy insulated one a good idea.
