Started new job but not signed contract

As the post says really. I started on Monday but have still not signed my contract or given bank details. This is NHS so technically speaking I’m not too worried but my manager keeps saying she’ll chase it (and has been saying this since before I started) When would you be getting worried?

I’ve got a meeting with the ‘Big Boss’ tomorrow. Do you think I should insist that they sort thing by close of play tomorrow given I’ve already started? I think that payroll closes around the 15th of the month so they need to get their arses in gear really. Fed up here 😂

I've worked for 8 different nhs trusts....I've never once signed a contract in 20 plus years

Wow! That’s crazy. I’ve been in the NHS for nearly 12 years and this is my 4th post, always signed a contract though. Interesting to hear that it’s not just my place who seem to think contracts are optional 😂
