I’ve just brought this… so many recipes, what are your favourites?

The squash and mushroom gnocchi is a weekly autumn dish in our house.

The tomato orzo looks too simple to be worth making but is deceptively fab for a weeknight tea.

Got mates coming over tomorrow night and I'm making the all in one dahl with pomegranate, with the coconut baked rice with squash and broccoli as a side.

It's a wonderful book!!!

Thank you they sound lovely and the orzo one had caught my eye

Ooh, my favourite cookery book! Favourites include miso aubergine, roasted cauliflower with chickpeas and tahini, Persian mushrooms, asparagus tart, herby roasted peppers. I could go on - have lived off this book for the past 18 months!

Miso aubergine and the vegetarian gnocchi (pepper and ricotta?). Gado gado salad.

I often seem to end up with lots of half packets of things and needing veg from different seasons in the same recipe so a good book but not a favourite.

There's a fab Puy lentil, leek and feta one - not sure if it is in The Green Roasting Tin or The Quick Roasting Tin

The Puy lentil & feta one, the Pearl barley & dill (just had that tonight) and the orzo with tomatoes…. All delish!

Cookerhood · 30/09/2021 21:25

Orzo one is a family favourite

Conniethesensible · 30/09/2021 21:26

it's JUST so easy isn't it. I've got the 30 minutes or less one. Really recommend the gnocci and ham hock one. Of course, I burnt myself 3 days ago on my roasting tin. I never learn!

ethelredonagoodday · 30/09/2021 21:29

I've just bought the green snd the red book after a friend recommended them. Really great books! Loved the aubergine miso chicken! Planned shopping around several other recipes for next week!

Puy lentil, leek and feta recipe

We love the lentils with pomegranate seeds. I think that’s in the green book - I have that one and the quick one too.

Courgette, olive, feta and sun-dried tomatoes gratin is good
The sprout and globe artichoke and blue cheese bake feels like a real treat.

southchinasea · 01/10/2021 11:21

The three bean chilli is a favourite here and we also like the sticky rice with broccoli, squash and coconut milk, the ratatouille and the roasted peppers stuffed with artichokes, feta and olives.

mynameiscalypso · 01/10/2021 11:22

Oh yes, the sticky rice one is lovely!

barnanabas · 01/10/2021 11:55

Yes!!
Favourites here are the sticky rice, the brussels sprouts and chickpeas (I don't normally like sprouts, but we eat that several times a month in winter), bean chilli, and the little falalfely things with sweet potato. I love those!! It's a great book.

I got the Green BBQ book for my birthday and can also thoroughly recommend that if you're a fan.
