I'll start off by saying I'm a happily married mum of 2. So this is all conjecture and fantasy.
I've come to realise that I'm extremely attracted to 'heros' and people that take care of or look after others. For example, with the exception of Peter Capaldi (who I just dislike as an actor) I've fancied everyone of the modern Dr Who's. Pacey from Dawson's creek - the way he hugs the female characters and kisses the tops of their head in a really paternalistic way just gets me. There's other (celebrity) examples but you get the jist.
Where as in real life I'm strongly independent (physically and financially) would much prefer to get myself out of pickles than be saved, hate being taken care of.
And yet...my celebrity crushes are just that!
Anyone else have celebrity/ character crushes completely at odds with their personality? What's that about?
