Have I done damage?

I had a c section 4 months ago, recovered fantastically. Fast forward to a couple of days ago I was pratting around, trying to lift my bottom off floor legs straight in the air. For no reason other to see if I could, I can! I was bending my legs over to touch the wall behind me, all good. Except now I feel like I did just after my section, all my stomach muscles hurt, it's gotten worse just, as I was climbing into bed. Have I done any lasting damage do you think or it will be fine in a few days?

Probably not and it's just ur muscles stretching and being used as you haven't done that for a while

But

The best option is call your GP and get a professional opinion

In the mean time try not to worry

Have you done any exercise to try and strengthen your core? I don’t mean sit ups but gentle Pilates type moves to gradually increase strength?

The move you just tried would require a lot of core strength which may be why it’s hurts! I would monitor things and if no better in a day or two, see a GP 😬

No none, I just saw this exercise plan online and wanted to give it ago. That led to the messing around trying to do moves like I did back in gymnastics at school Hmm Won't be making that mistake again Grin
