I was on the edge of a rain storm today. Literally being rained on one side of the street but not the other. Loved it - felt v cool and like I was inside a scientific experiment. Any others?

Two polar vortexes in Chicago. Brrrrr.

YY to frozen eyelashes and nose hair. Also the feeling of freezing air entering your lungs, and the apartment slowly losing heat as the deep freeze went on, even with the furnace blasting non-stop.

Have also experienced some crackers of summer thunderstorms driving across Nebraska, and a few summer derechos in the Chicago area.

Mini tornado/funnel cloud in Portishead, everyone stopped and stared at it

The most spectacular storm over Lake Garda one night, it lit up the sky for ages

We were once snowed in, in the Alps. Grenoble airport closed so we couldn’t fly home

We’ve had rain at the front of the house and dry at the back too.

In Texas - the most dramatic thunder clouds and lightening over us for ages and not one drop of rain.

Also here in the U.K. - blue skies, summer evening and one dark storm cloud with continuous lightening. It was so odd.
