I saw a programme in the UK years ago about fostering and there was a little boy on it who was being looked after by an older couple.
The couple had grown up birth children, and they didn’t want to adopt as they wanted to retire, but the little boy was desperate to stay with them and their girls thought they should adopt him.
It has played on my mind for years what happened to the little boy. He was being soooo good because he wanted to be part of their family. I really hope that he found a good home (with them or another adoptive family) and is happy.
