I washed a dreaded tissue

Well, title says it all really. So I am now sat with DS's PE joggers and hoodie, a roll of masking tape painstakingly removing said tissue bits. Today I also discovered that my lint roller has grown legs and walked 😩 have that feeling it may be one of those days.

Know the feeling. My family are quite good now checking pockets after me moaning and it’s mainly my clothes that have a hidden tissue.

Putting things in a tumble drier helps with this.

If you have a tumble drier it gets rid of the bits as well - I know well that sinking feeling!

SkepticalCat · 27/09/2021 07:44

Can you give them a good shake outside to get rid of the worst of the tissue pieces?

ArblemarchTFruitbat · 27/09/2021 07:46

Oh, no. Who was the culprit? My DH is in charge of laundry and he (rightly) gets really pissed off if I leave a tissue in.

I now use cloth hankies to prevent this very problem

I did the wash without checks. DS left the tissue in his trousers. He checked all but his school trousers. I never thought of the drier. Hung the washing out the weekend as the weather was nice. Gave them a good shake but the force was strong with this tissue Confused
