They make me think of new builds from the 90’s onwards. Not sure really.

Am interested to know the answer to this too, this is the style of door we have for our bathroom and I much prefer it to the doors downstairs which feel more old fashioned to me (8 glass panels, wood painted mahogany)

They're a classic but have been overused in cheap new builds. Paint them black or a bold colour, depending upon your personal style and they'll look far more modern but still classic.

I say classic. But I got them installed in my house a couple of years ago. Really like them.

They are fine, just fine, they fill the hole in the wall, are not too heavy and are easy to hang and plane to fit... you can do it yourself... get prefinished if you want them white anyway, less faffing about!

Thank you, this has helped us compromise. I suggested this, both happy now.

God I'm so shit at this 😂

They are cheap so look dated but that type of door in a solid heavy pine is classic (ours are 150 years old)

Classic and functional. Easy to clean. Painting not needed for the most part. I can't think of a more practical door.
