What are you jealous of? (Lighthearted)

I've just spent 4 hours + mowing my lawns and one of them is on an incline. As I hadn't done it for 6 weeks or so it was long and it's taken me ages to get it short today. I know it's my own fault btw

Anyway, while I was red faced, sweaty and pushing my mower through the long grass on sodding said incline, neighbour comes and mows his well manicured garden on his ride on mower. I am v v v jealous! I want a ride on mower!! Can't afford

What are you jealous of?

@HerRoyalNotness

People that have a lovely relationship with their mum
Aww, I'm sorry.

That one sentence says so much.

TheIrritableGoldfish · 27/09/2021 03:29

People that are asleep.

Anyone with a nice car / car worth more than £5,000+

I’ve never had a car that cost more than £4,000 Yet the roads are full of cars that cost £20k plus.
Don't be, we were strangled with a car loan years back because I have a bad knee and can't drive a manual car and we were both in decent jobs, for 5 years it hung around like a noose. Car sellers are absolutely beeps!!!

At the moment people who can taste food and people who don't feel sick/vomit and dizzy half the day.Last week it was people who could breathe through their nose or even their mouth.

People who get an inheritance

And I've lost both my parents so don't tell me how they'd rather not have it

And its so annoying how everyone on mn assumes losing both parents is a guaranteed inheritance

@Silkiescatz
Thank you it's draining isn't it.

People who’ve had their babies already, 41+2 here - send birthing vibes 🥺

Sending solidarity, my DD got to 40+13 then was rudely evicted, she wasn’t going anywhere. Nothing more annoying than being overdue and everyone saying “is the baby here yet?”

Good luck! It will happen! Flowers

My 8 years younger friend’s age.
I have wasted too much time on a complete loser and if anything I wish I could start over at her age.

Sweetener12 · 27/09/2021 11:08

I'm jealous of people who can their everyday stuff without being in a rush or feeling there is no time left. Idk why but I always feel like I'm falling behind or there isn't so much time for me to complete the task before I switch to another one.

AutumnInBustletown · 27/09/2021 11:26

People with great parents that are positively involved in their lives and the lives of grandchildren. I am so jealous for my DC when I hear of other children being looked after and spending time with loving grandparents.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 27/09/2021 11:42

As someone who is currently stuck at home in plaster I am extremely jealous of anyone who can get in their car and go anywhere they like!
