Feel like I'm going mad never been this ill in my
Life. Took some lateral flow tests all back negative we haven't left the house anyway so haven't bothered going to do a proper one but might go down this evening in the car.

Really bad bodyaches feel really weak, sinus blocked earache can't hear clearly. High temp can't eat Full of mucus list goes on! It's been so rough the whole house is still sick we've had it since last Sunday now!

Not a cold exactly, but low grade fever, weakness, sneezing, sinuses blocked, dry cough, tiredness and fuzzy head. Have taken to my bed now.

Hope you feel better soon.

Bigpinkslippers · 26/09/2021 16:44

On day 4 here, negative for covid, constant headache, sneezing so hard now have a sore stomach and back, dry cough, joint aches, no temp though. Been in bed for 2 days 🤧

I don’t have a head cold but feel awful, headache, sore throat and tiredness. I’ve had it since Thursday and feel like I’m getting worse. I walked the dog at lunchtime today and had to go back to bed this afternoon, it wiped me out. Don’t think I’ll be going to work tomorrow.

Day 6. The phlegm stage. And I had a seizure last week too (unrelated, epilepsy) so I feel knocked for 6 Sad

Go do a PCR, if you have symptoms LFT aren't good enough.

whoami24601 · 26/09/2021 16:56

A woman on my sports team has been like this for weeks. Countless negative LFTs and PCRs. Including before our match last week. She came to watch and subsequently tested positive. As did half of the rest of our team! Seems like something tricky is going round!

GiveMeDreamies · 26/09/2021 16:58

Yes, DD and I have both had it. She's a bit ahead of me and will be going back to school tomorrow after a week off Negative PCR but sneezing, running nose, fever, awful sinus pain, cough. It seems to be going around school here as various kids have had it and all tested negative.

CreepyPaper · 26/09/2021 16:59

I have it and lots of people also have it judging by this recent thread https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/4352969-To-ask-does-anyone-else-have-this-other-bloody-virus

It's miserable isn't it? I'm producing so much mucus than slugs are looking on in awe.

I hope that you feel better soon.

Ozberry · 26/09/2021 16:59

Yes, I did countless negative tests so concluded it was just a bad lurgy. Two weeks in I’m not feeling ill as such, but really wiped out.

Etinox · 26/09/2021 16:59

Dd has- sneezing constantly, headache, flu symptoms, high temperature, slept for 48 hrs straight bar loo and liquids. Tested negative on lft and pcr, now lost her voice. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 26/09/2021 17:01

Yeah I've got it now. Spent all weekend mooching about in my pj's. It was my wedding last weekend and a few from that have had it. Sneezing, feeling really hot, headache, sore throat and horrid cough. Done lfts and negative. DH did a pcr and negative.

Mindymomo · 26/09/2021 17:02

My 25 year old DS has had this all week, headache, really bad sinus, lots of mucus. He’s just today feeling better. He spoke to doctor on Thursday, he’s going for blood test on Wednesday, she said to try Sudafed, which did help being blocked up.

Fubitch · 26/09/2021 17:06

You have a temp which means you need a pcr as it's one of the 3 main symptoms.

catfunk · 26/09/2021 17:10

Yes, day 5 now, feel awful. No fever though. I've got 9 negative lateral flow tests here.

Betsythecheshirecat · 26/09/2021 17:28

I have it. I think I'm coming out the other side now. Started last Thurs with a runny nose. Friday I stayed in bed as felt sore ears and sinuses, Just no energy. By Fri evening I'd lost my sense of smell and started a slight cough so booked PCR. Was convinced I had covid. PCR was negative.

Now I just have a rotten phlegmy cough and have to blow my nose about fifteen million times a day.

There was an article on BBC about this a few days ago

www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-58624295

ohihateithere · 26/09/2021 17:43

Just been for a test so will wait for that to come back. I am sure it is this nasty cold that is going round though.

I normally start to feel better few days after having a cold but this isn't budging. So depressing!

Hope everyone starts to feel better soon.
