texts after blood donation

Does anyone know any details about how the texts after you donate blood are generated?

I usually receive one 5-7 days after I donate, saying which hospital it's been issued to, and sometimes a little map of its route (probably not actually true, but it shows the places on a map!).

This time, the text just said 'blood for donations on this date are now being used in hospitals around the country'. I don't think they've got rid of the policy that tells you where you blood is sent, so it's making me wonder if mine wasn't used for some reason this time - and what that reason might be! (It's normally used for neonates, so you'd think would be in relatively high demand - unless maybe some of my results have changed or something).

Just curious. Makes no actual difference to me. and I'll keep donating, but it made me wonder.

I'm on donation 35, sometimes I get an email saying where it's gone, sometimes I don't. Doesn't seem to follow a pattern

I've had texts afterwards for a few years now, fairly regularly, so it seemed odd that this one was so generic and I wondered whether it could mean a specific donation wasn't used this time, and what types of things might cause that.
