Gap kids sizing

Hey,

I was just about to order some bits for DD never ordered from gap before- im assuming size 3 is 3-4?? Anybody know if they are true to size or size up?

My DD is on the tall and slim side and I tend to find that the age is the maximum - so 3 is more like a 2-3, maybe a little larger but not as roomy as a 3-4 from Next or similar.

My kids are older now but I remember Gap being tiny compared to other shops. Slim fit but also quite short compared to supermarket sizing. Get the bigger size.

Agree with the previous poster about sizing up. A size 3 is more 2-3 than 3-4.

Yes, size up! 2-3 in Next is on the big side for DS, but 3 in Gap just fits with not much growing room!

I find it quite big for the baby stuff - my dd is still in her 12-18 month trousers and is nearly 2. It washes really nicely and doesn't fade. It's lovely.

Baby leggings are on the small size baby hoodies and tracksuits are on the big side!
