Events and attractions you've have lived near for years but never been to?

It's Chester races today.

I've lived and worked in Chester for 28 years but I've never been to the races.

I've lived about 6 miles from Chester for 30 yrs and I've only been once and that was a works thing.

Born and bred in Edinburgh. Never visited the Castle or the Tattoo or seen a show in the Festival.

I'm near (ish; it looks close from here, but driving takes a while!) Blackpool. I've been twice (SeaLife and an A-Ha gig). No intention of ever going again.

Grew up abroad near a popular surf beach- I've never tried surfing

Lived in central london 15+ , moving out last year. I'd never been to the V&A till very recently and loved it. Also only went to London zoo just before moving away. Many other museums I've never been to along with Portobello rd market.

Chatsworth House....I adore the BBCs version of Pride & Prejudice where part of it was based (Colin Firth in the lake) yet still not made the relatively short trip!

I grew up on Newbury, also never been to the races there. I have been to Windsor and somewhere else near London.
