I have used Wayfair and it’s worked well. They have a wide selection and various price points.
Rugs in general are a pain if you have to return them though.

Suzi888 · 25/09/2021 16:26

Dunelm Smile

delilahbucket · 25/09/2021 16:30

Do not use Rugs Direct. The quality is awful and so is their customer service.
We got ours from Next. Lovely and soft, just what we wanted.

Read that to say 'drugs' then 🤦🏽‍♀️ but for rugs id say dunelm too.

Sammysquiz · 25/09/2021 16:48

The trouble with Wayfair is that there’s just soooooo many! I agree with the suggestion of Next - a few of ours are from there & they’re lovely.

Bluntness100 · 25/09/2021 16:53

Irugs, great rugs ans good prices.

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 25/09/2021 18:28

Dunelm and La Redoute. The latter constantly have a 'sale' on so you can save anywhere from 20-40% off the RRP.

peridito · 25/09/2021 18:56

Great suggestions ,thank you .

La Redoute ,interesting .Off to google .

I got mine from la redoute. It was the first time I'd bought anything from them but it came quickly and was a good priced wool rug.

BagginSnuff · 25/09/2021 19:22

I have a Tafsut Ochre that I love. All ethical, prices at different level. www.iansnow.com/collections/types?page=1&q=rugs

Kukoon
I've a kitchen doormat from them I can just throw in the washing machine and a nicer soft feel.

OverweightPidgeon · 25/09/2021 19:46

@ottoisagoodname you absolute star! I’ve just found the perfect rug after your recommendation !

FireworkParrot · 25/09/2021 19:48

We have a large rug (3m x 2m) in our living room from IKEA. It was by far the best value one we found and it's really nice quality. I don't think their selection is huge but may be worth a look xxx

Sorry, don't know why I put kisses on the end of that post. Too much Mumsnetting at the same time as WhatsApp messaging Grin

I got this from The Rugseller for the children’s playroom and I’m very pleased with it. They always have 10% off available, but if you wait for a bank holiday you can usually get 20% off.

If you’re after something not too pricey but still good quality, I’d definitely check both big marketplaces and smaller niche shops. Wayfair and Rugs USA have decent budget options, but the designs can be a bit generic.
If you want something more unique (handmade, vintage, or one-of-a-kind) without crazy markups, rugncarpet.com is worth a look. I got a vintage Turkish runner from them last year — shipping was fast, and the rug looked exactly like the photos.
Also worth keeping an eye on local Facebook Marketplace or estate sales; sometimes you can find gems for cheap.
