Everyday of their life. With everything
I have mild depression and am medicated but I just find myself bored every single day and get no enjoyment from anything. Anyone else have these moments at all?

No. Absolutely not. I find something I enjoy and do it. I’m busy at work, and enjoy it, and exercise with friends. Read a book, watch tv, walk mountains etc

I'm a chronic sufferer of boredom but I discovered I had adhd this year , so that explains why lol

Do you know I was thinking about this the other day. I've always had so many of the symptoms of adult adhd . Think is what do you do about it?

That's the thing though. I don't find anything I enjoy. Or if I think about things I once did enjoy I just feel meh

I am rarely bored.

I don't need much external excitement and I am not needy from others.

How about trying something completely new and different?! Something you thought once “no way!”

LeavesAre · 25/09/2021 19:26

When one of my children was little, they told me they were bored and I asked if they were actually relaxed and tired, and sometimes that's what they were and they wanted a sleep and didn't want to in the daytime.

Honestly since I was diagnosed I've just embraced it. Getting frustrated over the bordom just made it worse. I Got diagnosed at 8 weeks pregnant so I haven't tried medication yet .

Yes. I was in the park there. Very tearful ..tried antidepressants and they were not for me.
So I trudge on. Hope you feel better soon op.

Yes, I’m bored. I’m single and don’t want to socialise all the time because I find it draining if I do it too much, but I cba with lots of stuff at home. I end up scrolling endlessly.
I’m a bit depressed at the moment though, and waiting for the meds to kick in.

See I would love that. To just be happy to 'be' It's def something I can't do. I'm always thinking as well which is a problem

I'm always thinking as well which is a problem I'm like this, get bored in minutes and always need something to distract me. I've got the attention span of a young child. I thought about adult ADHD as well.
