Any hairdressers about? What on earth can I do with my hair?

This is untouched regrowth from a shaved head earlier in lockdown.

I'm sick of it. I can't think what to do with it at all. It's just so mulletey.

I really want to do a half half split black and white hair or white underneath with the top half black.

I've always had a blunt fringe too but don't know how I could work that in.

Am quite gothy (or would like to return to that)

Any ideas?

While it's taking shape, I would be boring and get the shape and balance before radical changes. It looks in great condition and a beautiful colour

I appreciate that but I just don't feel like me.

I've always had wild hair (orange, blue, green, pink, every colour under the sun really) and shaved under cuts or drastic fringes.

I just don't feel good leaving it like this, it's taken about 18 months to get here and I can't carry on anymore!

Plus I've got greys!

Not a hairdresser, but I'd go for a short Bob in the brightest colour you dare to try. Gets rid of the mullet effect and you can grow it out, while keeping it exciting with colour, until it's long enough for you to have a completely free choice.

Lots of styles here which I feel could be created with your current hair length, obviously you could dye a fun colour instead of black: www.google.com/search?q=short+goth+hair+girl&rlz=1CDGOYI_enGB644GB654&hl=en-GB&prmd=isvxn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjCs-77uJrzAhXSVsAKHfzmCKsQ_AUoAXoECAIQAQ&biw=414&bih=720&dpr=2

Not a hairdresser but I'd balance out the back a little, shorten it then use something like manic panic to give it a hint of colour without having to bleach it. You could do Bright red, purple or pink and while it wouldn't be the most vivid shade it can be, you're hit is light enough to pick up a good colour.

That would give you a lift that's temporary while it grows for mother few months no then you'll have more hair to play with.

My very short pixie has recently grown out, key to looking decent is keeping the back short while the top grows long to meet it.

Get the tail cut off, fringe cut in if you want and whatever colour takes your fancy.

I’d go a Vidal Sassoon style Bob with a short fringe.

Something sharp like this

Totally get that. Why not go short and light and get a pink toner? Your hair would be susceptible to it, or an Ash or grey. I wouldn't go dark just yet, let it grow and have fun trying out different cuts and looks. There is a culture of thinking woman should have long hair to be pretty and I am not doing that, but as its short and the back will need to be leveled, you may end up with a bit of a badger look if you try too soon for the light and dark contrast. Once it's levelled, a few months, go mad and send me a pic x
