Will Wembley check ages? Ed Sheeran tickets!

I've managed to get Ed Sheeran tickets for Wembley, for me, DH and DD. DD will be 11 and I've just seen they don't allow under 12's to stand on the pitch, and I only managed to get standing tickets. I only saw this after I'd already bought them Sad Will they check??

How can they check? Children don’t walk about with any personal ID. You might want to have a word with her before you go in to say that if challenged you are going to lie so she is on board.
Have a great night out!

I don't think they'll check as long as she doesn't look really young, they really can't tell the difference between an 11 and 12 year old by looking (some are very mature, some are tiny) and children that age have no requirement to carry ID, afaik. She will have to def say 12 if asked though Grin

16/18 would be different as usually related to licencing laws etc

Unless it says proof of age required then I wouldn't worry.
Just add a year to her date of birth if they ask, but lots of people don't have ID for children other than a birth certificate, which would be quite pointless to bring as it doesn't have photo ID to show who it is so I wouldn't assume it's actually checked. If your daughter was 8 it would be a problem but not when she's close enough to pass for being a few months older.

MatildaIThink · 25/09/2021 09:26

She will have to say she is twelve, she also might be asked her birth year so make sure she knows the "correct" one and maybe the year she is in at school.

Should be okay especially as with a adult. Know under 16s aren't allowed to stand without a adult and one guy did question me..I was 29 haha definitely old enough!

I really hope you're all right Sad she'll have only just turned 11 😬 I might have to try and make her look a bit older with make up.
