Chair recommendations for after back surgery

So, it looks like DH is going to be going for his back surgery soon (bilateral + inside bulging of discs) and the sofas and chairs we currently have will be no use whatsoever for him. Does anyone have any recommendations of chairs that they’ve used in similar circumstances?

Probably best to ask the unit he’ll be having the surgery at - they will have OTs/physios who’ll be able to advise based on the injury he has/surgery he’s having.

I've just had a microdiscectomy and I'm using a zero gravity garden chair indoors. It's the most comfortable chair I have found with a cushion to support my lower back.

Thanks both, surgery will be in the lumbar section of the spine. Will see what the Neuro section recommend for home use.

I used a dining room chair for a while after mine.
