Amazon have removed "front porch" as a delivery option

...and I'm really annoyed!

My last parcel got shoved behind my bins on a main road and when I've gone in to check, theres no "front porch" option any more!

An hour on the chat to support and they have no way to add it back to my account - this might be the thing that gets me to cut down on Amazon deliveries...

Is in the dustbin an option, seeing how many couriers seem to think its a good idea?

(Or my favourite from Amazon... the BBQ)

I can't recall which delivery company but they decided in the Guinea pig hutch was a safe place. The Guinea pigs were in there!

Is that why last week the driver forced a book that was too big for the letter box through it anyway, ripping it and wrecking the cover? Hmm

We have a sign on our door that instructs Amazon and other couriers where to leave parcels safely and have had no problem
since we have had the sign.

We have a boot box that delivery drivers use. We had bricks left over from our extension a few years back and added it.

I still have front porch as an option before i place my order but not after the order is placed. There's limited options after placed order now. 🤔

Maybe it's to stop the delivery people designating front doorsteps with a small canopy but no sides as a 'front porch'.

We've had numerous parcels left on our doorstep in full view of the road and the card says the parcel was in our 'porch'. In our case is extra annoying because if you look to one side of our front door there is a dwarf wall with a garden table next to it, that does a much better job of disguising a parcel from people who walk past our house.
