Scanxiety is alive and well

DH had a scan two weeks ago, he has cancer, it's terminal but he's been doing OK. His appointment with his oncologist in October has been cancelled and brought forward to tomorrow and I feel anxious about what it has shown

Oh gosh, what a worrying time for you. At least they are being pro active in bringing the appointment forward and if there is a different treatment to start it is being dealt with quicker. I hope it's nothing to serious

I'm sorry to hear this. I've followed your story and it's always struck me how brave and pragmatic you are.

I hope it isn't terrible news (I know you are at a stage when it's never "good" news per se).... but just handle it with your usual courage and dignity.
