Come look at my bunnies!

I have had such a battle with anxiety the last couple of years and I promised myself once I completed my CBT and was feeling a bit better I could get some new rabbits, I used to keep them a lot years ago and they were lovely pets. So I got a new pair yesterday and they are absolutely beautiful and so content! I've been letting them roam with me around but not too near so they can get used to their new surroundings. But just getting outside to spend some time with them has improved my mood so much. And I thought I would share the cuteness!

Awww they are just gorgeous OP. The fluffy one almost looks like a cuddly toy rather than a real live bunny!

Hope they bring you much joy and happiness!

I'm glad they are cheering you up, they've cheered me up too!

Have they got names yet?

I've sometimes thought it would be nice to have a house rabbit, too influenced by reading The Magician's Assistant I think! Smile

TheVanguardSix · 23/09/2021 17:00

Of all days, I needed this!
Thank you for sharing your bunny therapy OP!

What a lovely post. I looked after my friend's two rabbits last month while she was on holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They were good company and very relaxing. I truly think animals and nature are the secret to a balanced and more content life. Enjoy your new pets and I hope your post inspires others to find some fulfilment in looking after another living being

FelicityBeedle · 23/09/2021 17:07

Oh they’re gorgeous, have you named them yet?

Alwaysfuckingsick · 23/09/2021 17:15

Max and Ruby! They're both girls but max and ruby was my son's favourite tv programme a couple of years ago. They are so cute. And thank you, I'm glad I'm feeling a bit better too. They've been really friendly! And they've made me so happy!

Bunnies are just the best animal ever. I got my bunny last year during lockdown and he is the best thing ever. He’s a house bunny and he is my little pal.
Yours are so super cute too Smile I hope they bring you so much happiness because there’s nothing better than bunnies

SomebodysMum · 23/09/2021 19:10

They’ve cheered me right up, thanks OP 😀
