Police and CAMHS

Putting this here as I'm not sure where else to ask.
DD has seen CAMHs a few times in the past for anxiety.They haven't been that useful, but she's just been offered another appointment. She's now 16. She's upset as she says it will stop her joining the police force as she'll have to declare it.
Is this true, I've looked through the recruitment process and I'm not sure. If she cancels the appointment now, will she be able to say she's had no engagement with CAMHs post 16?

She's blaming me, as I pushed for CAMHs, but in the time she has waited for another appointment she's been a lot better - it's just school related anxiety. She has a job which she's fine with and is confident in other activities.

They'll want to know about her medical history, but if things have resolved before she applies she'll be unlikely to have issues.

I'm an ex copper, and believe me, plenty of people in the Job have MH problems beforehand, during and after working there.

CAMHS in and of itself wouldn't be a block. Failing to get MH help and trying to join up when unwell would, however, be likely to be an issue.

@PinkFootstool

Thank you, that's reassuring.
