Dorking Based Secondary Schools

Hi everyone

Does anyone have any children who attend either The Ashcombe or The Priory Schools in Dorking, Surrey. I am interested in hearing your own views and experiences of these schools.

Also, the new Merstham Park secondary school is another I would be interested in hearing about if anyone has comments. As it is a relatively new school, there is no OFSTED report available. My daughter is due to start secondary school next year so any views on these schools will be really helpful in my decision making process. Thanks all.

They are quite a distance apart, are you local? Have heard anecdotally that some withdrew from MP last academic year.

Thank you for responding. My husband and I are divorced and whilst he lives in Merstham, I live in Dorking. My daughter currently goes to a primary school in Merstham. My preference is for her to attend a school in Dorking as I do all her pick up's from school and the schools appear to be better in the OFSTED ratings in Dorking. Of course my daughter wants to go where her friends are all going so it is going to be a challenging decision so having some current opinions of the schools will be very helpful.
