Working at amazon

Did start another thread but no replies, thought I'd try a wider audience Grin
Has anyone recently worked for amazon?
I have an interview tomorrow but don't know too much about the job (sortation operative) apart from Google research.
Its full time, I've said no to night shifts just because I don't like them but am fully flexible otherwise.
I'm just a bit concerned I'll be spending all day by myself and get bored!
Main reasons for applying is the money, can't find a full time (guaranteed) role anywhere and need full time to live basically as I'd like to not worry about bills all the time, I have a 20 hour contract at the moment and should get 30 hours per week ish but thats not guaranteed or quite enough honestly.

I think someone who worked for them did an AMA a while back, might be worth searching the AMA topic?

Unlikely that you will get bored given that every employee account I have ever read tells of them being constantly run off their feet with barely a few seconds for a toilet break!

West decent footwear and accept that it’s not a job where you are going to be mollycoddled.

Head down and get on with it and enjoy the fruits of your hard labour.

Thanks, I'll give that a search, tbh I've always done retail/hospitality so always been around people although I am fairly introverted I guess.
Much rather be busy than doing nothing too.
