Give me some ideas for fun groups for a 5-year-old?

DS wants to do more fun stuff with other kids! I have looked into football and Beavers locally (he’s too young for beavers for now), and also found a drama group.

The Hoop app has gone Sad, so I am finding it hard to search for stuff happening that way.

Can anyone inspire me? What groups and clubs does your 5-year-old enjoy?

It’s best to ask on your local Facebook page. At this age I would be wary of over scheduling too many activities and remember you can always organise play dates, otherwise knows as inviting a child round to play.

DD does swimming and dance. The dance class offers street, contemporary, ballet, jazz and you pick which type. She is doing a trial of mixed martial arts, which hopefully she will enjoy.

Oh and ask the parents at school, especially the ones with older siblings.

When spring comes round try All Stars cricket

I should add, I haven’t actually signed him up for the football or drama yet - so definitely not trying to overload him. Just trying to find some ideas and clubs to give a go. He has SO MUCH energy to spend Grin

Thank you for these suggestions! I am going to get searching locally!
