Duvet question

I'm not sure where to post this!

Does anyone have a pure down duvet in a low tog and can tell me whether its fluffy?

Having a big clear out and have opened a ziplock bag which has a 100% down duvet cover.

I remember this well, it's like sleeping under marshmallows. I'm currently lying on the floor underneath it...

Anyway, it's a double and my bed is a king size alas. However I just looked online and duvets can be recovered and made into a larger size with more down added!

It's a 13.5 tog and I'm not sure I need that. I currently sleep under a 4 tog feather duvet all year round, with a blanket if it feels chilly, as my flat is so well insulated. I've never had a better duvet than the pure down one though, and I can't bring myself to get rid of it. It cost a chunk of my pay when I bought it. It looks decidely off white though and I very stupidly once put a punnet of cherries in a bag on top of it and went out and they leaked everywhere, and the stain never quite came out, and looks awful.

If I turn it into a 10.5 tog (or less) duvet will it lose its fluffiness though?

I think if it would lose the fluffiness I'd rather have more down added when its recovered into a king size.

I'm just going to lie in it some more...
