Hi. Really struggling now, feeling down and anxious. Time of year. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I got a cheap and cheerful one which was on offer at Argos, just to try it out. I love it. Definitely makes a difference.

Don't think they still make mine, but just to let you know that you don't have to pay a fortune.

I did try one that came on in the mornings as part of an alarm clock, giving off a gentle glow, instead of the rather bright light my little SAD lamp gives off. That did nothing for me.

I have this one www.beurer.com/web/gb/products/wellbeing/light-therapy/daylight-therapy/tl-30.php

Can't remember where I got it from, but shop around as prices vary.

I kept putting off spending fifty quid but it makes such a difference. Even knowing that it's there makes a difference this time of year as the days get shorter.

I mainly use it late afternoon autumn/winter and it helps my concentration and reduces anxiety.

I had one from a UK firm way back, a bedside type lamp. ALos I tried a Light Box but as I also have CFS/ME and light intolerance that was far too bright.

google? Amazon have a good selection,

and read around the rationale as it makes sense. Well worth a try

I had a basic lumie for over 10 years before it finally gave up the ghost and quite honestly it saved me. I used to feel so utterly dreadful on winter mornings, properly ill.

I upgraded to this and its BLOODY FANTASTIC
