Birchington Vale

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a day out around Birchington Vale park in Kent.
We are visiting family and staying there, my youngest turns two on that weekend, so we wanted to take her for a day out.
I’ve found Wildwood which looks lovely, but any recommendations would be great.
Would be willing to travel about 40 minutes from Birchington.

Hi, I'm local to birchington. I'd 100% recommend Wingham wildlife park we have an annual pass 😊 it's a zoo but also have a Dino walk through, soft play etc 😊

Wildwood is great, it’s the other side of Herne Bay, so not too far. Wingham Wildlife Park is also good. There’s loads to do in Quex Park - indoor and outdoor activities (not sure if the museum is open yet though) and lovely food from the barn or the cafe. Howlets Zoo is not too far away. And of course the lovely sandy beach at Minnis Bay (hopefully not full of seaweed though as is sometimes the case).

Thank you both. Will look into all of your suggestions now. She absolutely loves the beach so Minnis Bay sounds great.
