Whenever we are invited over to friends, I always like to take a small gift.I've been trying to think of some different ideas now that we are finally allowed to visit again.
Budget: £5 - 10 (prep nearer £5 as this really is a token, and as we will return the invitations, don't want to set too high a precedent)
Please don't say nothing - we all do this and will continue to do so.
Not alcohol as we take beer & wine anyway. Although I sometimes have taken something like Chambord or a homemade infused gin/vodka if I have some on the go.
Not flowers or plants or chocolates as this is what I've usually done and am trying to move away from.
Things we have taken in the past:
Candles
Homemade Jams/chutneys
Homemade truffles
A friend once brought me a lovely rosemary plant which was way more useful than a houseplant, but I think most of my friends grow herbs already.
Towards Christmas I'd think about Christmas decors but not yet.
