What's your fave way to keep entertained on a long trip?!

We are heading on holiday this weekend and have a 13 hour car journey (Sad)
I am terrible at reading whilst in the car, it makes me feel SO sick!!
I have considered an audio book, but don't want to download if onto my phone really as I won't be able to recharge it (I will be a passenger, not driving myself)

Does anybody know of any small devices I could purchase for audiobooks??

Or any other ways to keep entertained?

🥰

Can't you charge it via cigarette lighter/USB socket?

As above or a power bank?

Ohh thank you, I've got a power bank somewhere which I'll dig out. I'm going with DP's parents and DP so will be in the back, didn't really want to have to stretch to the front / ask to put my phone on charge! Thanks :)

If I'm a passenger, I'll have crochet and also my phone, I keep swapping between the two. I keep crochets project to small, easily portable ones. And on a long journey, I also snooze some of the time, it's the motion of the car that sends me off.

In my car, I do have a USB socket in the back as well as the front so the kids are okay. They also have power banks, as I insist they have them to hand. Simply because listening to them moan if we're unable to recharge phones is not something I want to repeat.

I do cross stitch and Sodoku on my tablet.
