to what is actually happening in the uk at the moment?

What's he going on about now?

He was questioned by 2 reporters about UC rising energy costs etc and deflected saying his usual rubbish about rising salaries etc and then started about global warming. Basically denying that there was a problem.

Well he DOES know perhaps understand is a stretch

People like him don't have to worry about paying their bills.

B. As long as he's centre stage he doesn't give a shit about anyone else.

He didn't care about the impact of Brexit on the population, but particularly not arsed about Ireland/NI and Scotland.
He didn't care enough about the health of the population vs his standing in the Tory party (Covid)
He doesn't care about people on benefits, or even people on an average income; only his donors/rich people
He clearly doesn't care about his children
He doesn't care about the truth.

He just doesn't care, because he will always be alright. And that is the only person he really cares about.
